Adult Acrylic Painting – 4 Classes

Course Overview

Take each class as a stand alone class to work on your skills or as a four-week course that will introduce acrylic painting fundamentals, color theory, brush techniques, and composition. Each week can build upon the previous one, allowing students to develop their skills progressively.

Supplies included in weekly class sessions. Should students want to practice independently at home, below is a list of materials we will cover and use during this 4 week course.

Materials List:
Acrylic paints (basic set of primaries + black & white)
Brushes (round, flat, fan, detail)
Palette (disposable or reusable)
Canvas or acrylic paper
Palette knife
Water cup & rags
Optional: Gesso, glazing medium, matte/gloss varnish

By the end of four weeks, students should have a strong foundation in acrylic painting techniques and the confidence to continue developing their skills independently.
